Rice came to Spain from Asia by the hand of the Arabs to stay in Valencia, where we get the traditional rice for Paella Olmeda Origenes. From the Bahia / Senia variety, it is a round grain, medium in size, has an absorption that doubles its size. Its composition guarantees the creamy texture of the grains after cooking and, most importantly, the complete absorption of flavors. These characteristics make it very suitable when preparing any traditional Valencian recipe and especially the famous Paella. Tips for use It should be cooked with two parts of water for one part of rice. The cooking time is approximately 5 minutes at high temperature and 10 minutes at low heat. It is recommended to let it rest for a few minutes after cooking.
