Originating from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, Strozzapreti is a 'twisted' pasta with an uneven "strange" shape. Rich in protein and a source of fiber, Strozzapretti made from 100% gluten-free Red Lentils offer a nutritious and delicious alternative to traditional wheat pasta. Served just like regular pasta, they are combined with minced meat, tomato sauces and seafood, they are particularly suitable with pesto, shrimp, peppers and sausage, while they are excellent for vegan recipes and gluten-free dishes. Easy and quick to cook, only need 4'-5' boiling.
