Hazelnuts are a fruit with very high nutritional value. They are very rich in fats and mainly in "good" monounsaturated fats, which help reduce "bad" and total cholesterol. At the same time, they are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron and copper, which are essential for the proper functioning of the body. What stands out about hazelnuts is their high content of folic acid, which makes them particularly important even during pregnancy, but also in antioxidant vitamin E.
