Ingredients:

• 500gr Sweetbay Melomakarono Mix
• 105gr Water 
• 240gr Sunflower Oil

Instructions Friday:

• Step 1: First make the syrup because you will need it cold. Place the water, sugar, cinnamon stick in a saucepan and let it boil. Once the syrup has come to a boil, remove from heat, add the honey, stir and let cool.
• Step 2: Add 500gr Sweetbay Melomakarono Mix, 240gr sunflower oil, 105gr water to the mixer bowl and beat on low speed for 2 minutes.
• Step 3: Form the dough into 30gr pieces, place them on a sheet pan or baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 30 minutes until they become crispy and take on a nice color.
• Step 4: Once you take the melomakarona out of the oven, dip them directly into the cold syrup for about 30 seconds on each side, remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a rack to cool. Place the melomakarona on a platter and add coarsely chopped walnuts.
