Cocoa has beneficial properties for the body and offers it the same benefits as chocolate, but without burdening it with sugar. The benefits of cocoa for the human body have been proven by many old and new studies, which have even concluded that cocoa contains more antioxidants than red wine, as well as some fruits known for their antioxidant properties, such as pomegranates and blueberries. Cocoa is high in flavonoids and procyanidins. It also contains plenty of magnesium, which protects the heart, brain, bones, muscles and blood, as well as iron and vitamin C. Thanks to magnesium, but also phosphorus and the substance theobromine, cocoa can and does eliminate fatigue and drowsiness.  It also improves mood, which is due to the substance tryptophan, which is found in its grains and enhances serotonin production.
